- I had LW3.5 and a Picasso in my A1500, but LW didn't take advantage of the
- PII, leading to me configuring Layout and Modeler not to use Picasso modes
- in ChangeScreen. Although it would render previews to the PII, wireframe
- previews did not work if I had Layout in a Picasso mode. Additionally,
- once I'd upgraded from the Picasso drivers to the CyberGraphX drivers,
- antialiased Layout previews did not work (that is, they looked the same as
- un-AA'ed previews) :-(
-
- Picasso modes were also slower at updating wireframes than straight Amiga modes.
-
- LW3.5 does not render out DCTV files directly, but I used to convert them
- with IFFtoDCTV, which was fine. The final anims looked good to me ;-)
-
- All this may have changed with 4.0, but I can't say because I sold my A1500.
